Seneca Police arrest California Man for injuring Child

A California man sits behind bars in Oconee County after a Tuesday incident where a 4-year-old child was injured on the train tracks near Seneca. The Seneca Police Department reports that 26-year-old Aldo Espinosa stands charged with child endangerment, resisting arrest and trespassing on railroad tracks. Around 1:30pm, police were called about a man jumping onto a moving train. When police arrived on the scene, they discovered the child unconscious and bleeding from a head injury. Espinosa also had several scrapes on his arm. Fortunately, the injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
