OHC holding Throwback Thursday Today

Every Thursday in June, from 3-5pm, the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC) hosts Throwback Thursdays, tells Assistant Curator and Education Specialist Jennifer Moss. “Bring your child for a fun, hands-on look at life in Oconee County from the past to the present. On June 7, the theme is Oconee County History. Oconee County is celebrating its 150th birthday this year. Learn how Oconee County has grown and changed in the last 150 years. Attendees will explore activities relating to different time periods in Oconee County’s history. Registration is a must, so, call 864-638-2224 to reserve your child’s spot.” The cost is $10 for OHC members and $15 for non-members. The OHC is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in downtown Walhalla.
