Seneca hires New Administrative Assistant

After two months on the job, Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder is getting some help. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander announces that the city has hired a new administrative assistant. “Debbie Williams started on Monday. I know Scott is glad to have her as he has been running back and fourth. She is very well thought of in the community. A lot of people I know know her and they have really recommended her very highly, so we are excited to have her on board.” The city said goodbye to longtime Administrative Assistant Cindy Kelley on Dec. 1, after 28-years working for Seneca. The city is also actively searching for a new fire chief, adds Mayor Alexander. “That is moving along very well. Mr. Moulder has gone through the process and has limited down. There were a lot of people that applied for that, but we are planning on having some second interviews coming up. I’m hoping pretty soon we are going to make that announcement. I feel real good about that because we have had lots of good applicants for that position.” Earlier this year, Seneca Fire Chief Jan Oliver announced he would be retiring at the end of July after a long and distinguished career working for the city’s fire department.
