Clemson ready to celebrate National Night Out

The City of Clemson Police Department host National Night Out on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 6-8pm at Dawson Park. This is a family-friendly event, tells Clemson Mayor JC Cook. “This is a family night out and we hope that we have a big crowd there. There will be food and entertainment. The Police Department will be there showing off their gear and vehicles. The Fire Department will be there and if it is a hot night, they will spray the kids down with a hose. Dawson Park is known to a lot of people as the Red Hill Ball Park. It is at the intersection of Old Stone Church Road and Highway 76. So, there is plenty of room out there and there is plenty of parking out there. Just come out and have a great night out with your family.” For more information, visit www.cityofclemson.org.
