Have Lunch and Learn about Education at OHC

On Tuesday, Aug. 14, have lunch and learn about 150 years of education in Oconee County at the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC), tells Assistant Curator and Education Specialist Jennifer Moss. “Celebrate the sesquicentennial by taking a look back at education in Oconee County. Bring your lunch and learn. Join Director and Curator Leslie Hagerty as she explores the history of education in Oconee County. From one-room school houses to high school memories, you will enjoy a look back at how education has changed in Oconee County over the past 150 years.” This free event is from noon to 1pm at the OHC, which is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in Walhalla.
