SDOC list First Day Enrollment at 10,258

On the first day of school, the School District of Oconee County welcomed over 10,000 students. Monday’s first day enrollment was 10,258. Oconee County Schools Associate Superintendent of Administration Steve Hanvey projects by week’s end the total enrollment will jump by 270 students, to roughly 10,528. Walhalla High School has the district’s highest enrollment at 1,123 students. Walhalla Middle School welcomed the most students at that level, 866. At the elementary level, Northside Elementary School in Seneca had the most students with 650.
