OC to interview for New Administrator

It seems that Oconee County is now ready to start interviewing prospective candidates to be the next county administrator. After an executive session late last night, the Oconee County Council approved a motion by Oconee County Attorney David Root. “As to the county administrator review process, the candidates were broken down into tiers 1, 2 and 3. I need a motion for staff to orchestrate interviews with all tier 1 candidates and candidate #9 in tier 2 over the course of the Sept. 4, and Sept. 11, meetings.” Approximately 50 people applied for the position and some will be granted interviews.
