Excitement growing about Hotel under construction in Seneca

As crews actively prepare the site on Bypass 123, excitement is growing about a new hotel coming to the City of Seneca. Grading on the site next to Applebee’s is now underway and Seneca City Administrator Scott Moulder thinks this will be a great addition to the community. “It is exciting to see that the tourism and visitors to our community are so plentiful that we have another hotel coming in and this is a well known and well established hotel owner, he owns a number of them in the area and for him to make that investment into this community it’s really a good indication of the growth, excitement and the visitors that we have coming here. I just think it is a great example of where this city is going. The future is bright and I’m so excited about it. We’ve known Mr. Patel for quit some time, we’ve worked with him and it is excited to see the process get started and the project underway.” The plans for the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites call for 102 rooms and 1,300 square feet of meeting space. The hotel’s projected opening is January of 2020.
