Foothills Kiwanis Club seeks Charter Members

The Foothills Kiwanis Club seeks charter members of a new club being established in the Oconee County and Clemson areas. This club’s motto is that of a global organization of volunteers looking to improve the world one child at a time. Organizer Frank Galloway says they have a spot in the Foothills Kiwanis Club for everyone wanting to make a difference in their community. “Well, basically if you have a desire to serve child you could come visit one of our meetings. We meet twice a month for lunch for about an hour. We have speakers that come in and these are usually involved in some aspect of serving children. We don’t have any requirements that if you miss a meeting you have to make something up. We also try to have service hours each month, at least 2-3 hours, but that is not required. So, we are looking for new members and we will take anybody that is willing to serve children.” To learn more about becoming a charter member of the Foothills Kiwanis Club, call Frank Galloway at 864-882-4045.
