SDPC hosting Online Safety Parent Nights

The School District of Pickens County (SDPC) is partnering with Securly, an online security software provider, to present four Online Safety Parent Night sessions. These sessions will go over tips and best practices for encouraging a safe online experience for kids, including the best ways you can use the Securly app as a parent to monitor and control your child’s use of his or her school-issued device. The SDPC says that it is a good idea to download the Securly app before you attend a meeting and that it is available on Google Play or in the App Store. The sessions are scheduled for Sept. 18, at 6pm in the Pickens High School Auditorium and at 8pm in the Easley High School Auditorium and on Sept. 20, at 6pm in the Liberty High School Auditorium and at 8pm in the Daniel High School Auditorium. These sessions are open to parents of students of all ages.
