Identities of Seneca Homicide Victims released

At approximately 9:10am Monday morning, Sept. 10, 2018, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and EMS personnel were dispatched to 14 Padgett Street in Seneca for a reported shooting. Two men died at this incident location from gunshot injuries. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis identified them as 54-year-old Timothy Wayne Caldwell, who resided at the incident location and 29-year-old David Thomas Tranah, who had recently resided at an address on West-Oak Highway near Seneca. Their manners of deaths are being investigated as homicides. Addis says that an autopsy will be performed Tuesday on both of these men to assist with the death investigation.
