Seneca growing to the North and East

The City of Seneca is growing to the north and east. At their most recent meeting, the Seneca City Council approved first reading on two annexation requests, property at South Cove Road on the north side of the city limits and property at Radnorshire Road on the east side. Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander is glad that the city is growing. “The property that is up near Bountyland or on South Cove Road is going to be a residential Planned Unit Development. So, I’m looking forward to that big development. The other annexation was an apartment complex that is on the Clemson side of Seneca that I think it is about 90 units that are going to be there. We actually have another housing development that is being built right now that is actually already in the city limits of Seneca. It is about $6 million development. So, we are growing and we are seeing some development in this area. So, I’m very grateful for that.” The Seneca City Council considers second and final reading of the ordinances to annex and re-zone the two pieces of property at their meeting next month.
