Hundreds enjoy Ag and Art Tour in OC

The inaugural year of the Ag and Art Tour in Oconee County was a huge success, according to Charlotte Waters, Sales Manager and Event Planner for Visit Oconee. This was a self-guided opportunity to visit two farms in Oconee County featuring local artisans and farm produce. Waters says it attracted hundreds of visitors to the county. “We had a huge crowd at both locations. At Chattooga Belle Farm we had about 500 folks come through on Saturday and then at End of the Road Studios at the DuBose Family Century Farm about 200 folks attended on Saturday. So, both days we think between 700-800 folks cam through both locations.” The Ag and Art Tour was another opportunity to show visitors what makes Oconee County special. Organizers are now planning to do the event again next year and are hoping to add more farms to the tour.
