Agenda released for Clemson City Council Meeting

The agenda has been released for the Clemson City Council meeting on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018. A work session is scheduled for 5:30pm on the Business Licenses Ordinance for Rental Properties and then the regular council meeting starts at 6:30pm. Among the items on the agenda are a report regarding meetings with business owners on Highway 123 and the South Carolina Department of Transportation concerning the concrete median plan, consider making a request of financial assistance to the Pickens County C Fund Committee for street safety projects, consider a request from Abel Baptist Church to be included as one of the non-profit agencies allowed to use the electronic message board, consider first reading of an ordinance for the abandonment and transfer of the remaining section of Robinson Street, consider first reading of an ordinance for proposed text amendment of the City Code Chapter 19 Building Facade Step-backs, consider first reading of an ordinance for proposed text amendment of the City Code Chapter 19 Setbacks in CM Districts, consider first reading of an ordinance to amend the City’s Land Development Regulations and an executive session to receive a report from City Attorney Mary McCormac on a legal matter. The meeting is open to the public and takes place in Council Chambers of Clemson City Hall at 1250 Tiger Boulevard.
