Quilts Celebrating Oconee!

The Oconee Heritage Center (OHC) seeks quilts celebrating Oconee County. The museum announces the 2018 Quilt Show Challenge. This challenge is to create a quilt whose sum of sides is no more than 56 inches that depicts Oconee County during its 150-year history. There were no restrictions on content, although many incorporate historic sites and natural beauty of Oconee County. Now on display at the OHC are nine quilts by the Lake and Mountain Quilters’ Guild. The OHC is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in downtown Walhalla.
