New Walhalla Police Chief to start in January

The City of Walhalla announces that a new police chief will start work after January 1, 2019. Walhalla City Administrator Brent Taylor says six of the applicants will be asked to report for interviews with city officials in the middle of next month, meaning any agreement by the city council would likely have the new chief starting after the first of the New Year.
