Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Charges Three In “Theft Ring”

(Seneca, SC)———————–The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office made two arrests Tuesday in an investigation into what is being called “a theft ring” that spans the Golden Corner including several municipalities and may also reach across the county line into Pickens County.

The Sheriff’s Office arrested 19 year old Gage Austin Lyda of Walhalla on multiple charges, including one count of First Degree Burglary and two counts of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle. Also arrested on multiple charges was 19 year old Richardo Mauricio Heller, also of Walhalla. The charges against Heller include six counts of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle.

Investigators also served additional warrants on 41 year old Joshua Chad Jackson of Walhalla. Jackson was arrested last week in regards to the same investigation. Those warrants on Jackson include 6 charges of Breaking Into a Motor Vehicle.
