Oconee County Chamber Of Commerce Begins Oconee First Fridays This Week
The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce will begin a new initiative this week to help prospective business owners or owners that have been in business for awhile. Oconee First Fridays begins this Friday morning at the Chamber office at Lee’s Courtyard in Bountyland and it is a free event that will be held on the first Friday of every month through September.
Vanessa Penton, who is the Executive Director for the Chamber, said the event is sponsored by the Small Business Council of the Oconee Chamber. The event will cover several topics over the next several months. Members are invited and encouraged to bring a guest. The focus will be on what is called Best Practices.
