Oconee County Council To Hold Special Called Council Meeting Friday Morning

(Seneca, SC)———————–Oconee County Council will hold a special called meeting in about one hour at Council Chambers at the South Pine Street complex. The council will go into Executive Session to discuss the employment of the County Administrator. After returning from Executive Session, according to the agenda, it is expected that Council will discuss and approve the contract for the employment of the County Administrator. At Tuesday night’s regularly scheduled Council meeting, Council returned from Executive Session and authorized County Council Chairman Julian Davis to begin contract negotiations with current interim County Administrator Amanda Brock in order to remove the interim tag so Brock can become the County Administrator.
