The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Makes An Arrest In 2014 Homicide Case

(Seneca, SC)———————-The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a homicide investigation that occurred in November of 2014. On November 1st of that year, deputies responded to an address on Glenn Street in Anderson in regards to a shooting. Deputies located a victim at that time who had been shot. The victim was later transported to the hospital and died there from injuries sustained. 

Based upon evidence gathered as a result of the investigation, investigators from the Criminal Investigations Division obtained arrest warrants against Clarence Jamal Tillman on charges of Murder and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime. 

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, Tillman fled to the state of Georgia, where he was later arrested on March 15th of this year in a separate incident. Once Tillman was released from custody in the state of Georgia, he was then transported to the Anderson County Detention Center.
