School Resource Officers To Issue Tickets To Students In Regards To Vaping and E-Cigarettes

(Seneca, SC)——————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release yesterday reminding students as well as parents and guardians that School Resource Officers, who are in the schools in the School District of Oconee County, will be writing tickets to any student caught vaping or possessing any e-cigarette paraphernalia.. Plus, students will also face school punishment from administrators for violating the behavior code, according to the release. 

The Sheriff’s Office is also reminding parents, guardians and students that vaping is illegal for anyone under the age of 18.
