Clemson Area Transit Announced Participation In National Get On Board Day This Thursday
(Seneca, SC)——————–Clemson Area Transit or CATbus has announced that it will join with other public transportation systems nationwide to participate in National Get On Board Day this Thursday, April 25th.
The event, which is sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association, encourages people to support public transportation and showcases the benefits it brings to communities. Each weekday in the United States, according to a release, 34 million people board public transportation.
A release from CATbus also states that public transportation is important for the economy as every $1 invested in public transportation generates approximately $4 in economic returns, powering community growth and revitalization.
