Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Pendleton Woman And Westminster Man On Trafficking In Methamphetamine Charges

(Seneca, SC)—————-The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Pendleton woman and a Westminster man on charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana after a traffic stop over the weekend. 

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division initiated a traffic stop on a gold Buick Lucerne last Saturday near West Union. According to the case report, the deputy detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. 

As the investigation continued, the deputy discovered a cooler bag which contained a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Oconee County Detention Center. 

Arrested in the investigation was 30 year old Shannon Leigh Burnside and 34 year old Shaun Eric Hornick. 

According to the case report, approximately 36.41 grams of methamphetamine were recovered as well approximately 90.7 grams of marijuana.
