The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Toccoa, Georgia Man On Multiple Charges, Including Grand Larceny

(Seneca, SC)——————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Toccoa, Georgia man this week on multiple charges, including a charge of Grand Larceny. 

29 year old Michael Dean Bledsoe was also booked in on arrest warrants charging him with Malicious Injury to Personal Property and Obtaining a Signature Under False Pretenses. 

According to arrest warrants, Bledsoe is accused of stealing over $25,000 in building material and equipment from an address on Shoreline Drive near Seneca last December. 

Bledsoe was contracted for a job back in October of 2018 via a reported company that he owns. According to arrest warrants, Bledsoe obtained checks valued at more than $10,000 by posing as a licensed professional contractor and fabricating unnecessary repairs. Bledsoe was also accused of causing damage to the electrical breakers and wiring by burning the items with a blow torch.
