Clemson University Professor Co-Author Of Newest Publication From The American Academy Of Arts And Sciences

(Seneca, SC)————Clemson University recently announced that a faculty member is the co-author of the newest publication from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences that offers insights and recommendations to increase the role of scientists in times of disaster. 

Gary Machlis is a Clemson professor of Environmental Sustainability and former science adviser to the director of the U.S. National Park Service. 

The publication is entitled “Science During Crisis: Best Practices, Research Needs and Policy Priorities.”
