Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Seeks The Public’s Help Regarding Damaged School Bus Windown

(Seneca, SC)——The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident yesterday in which a window of a school bus was damaged on Birdwell Drive in Six Mile. 

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 3:55pm, the Sheriff’s Office was notified of the damage to one window on the side of the school bus after the window was struck by unknown objects which cause the glass to break. 

There were twenty-one students on the bus at the time of the incident but no injuries were reported and the occupants on the bus were transferred to another bus. 

Sheriff’s Office detectives began an investigation after arriving on scene. According to the press release, two small holes could be detected that are characteristic of damage created by a low velocity weapon such as a BB or pellet gun.
