South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Announces A Preliminary Total Of Eight Persons Killed On South Carolina Roadways During Memorial Day Weekend

(Seneca, SC)—————-The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced that a preliminary total of eight persons were killed on South Carolina roadways during the Memorial Day Weekend travel period, which began at 6pm last Friday, May 24th and concluded just before midnight on Monday, May 27th. 

A total of eight persons were killed on South Carolina roadways during Memorial Day Weekend 2018. 

As of May 27th, 369 persons have been killed on South Carolina roadways compared to 405 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018. 

So far this year, 10 persons in Anderson County, four persons in Oconee County and seven persons in Pickens County have died on South Carolina roadways so far this year.
