Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Announces Pill Take Back Event At Upcoming Opioid Taskforce Event
(Seneca, SC)——–The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has announced that the agency will be conducting a Pill Take Back event during an upcoming community event.
The Oconee Opioid Response Taskforce will hold the event next Tuesday, June 4th from 6pm until 8pm at Northside Elementary School which is located at 701 N. Townville Street in Seneca.
The event is designed to educate the public on the opioid epidemic, treatment options for opioid addiction and prevention for the community. There will be information booths set up onsite after the program to answer additional questions that the public may have.
During the Pill Take Back event, citizens can bring old or unused medications for safe disposal.
