Homicide Suspect From State Of Florida Arrested In Easley Sunday
(Seneca, SC)———A suspect in a homicide from the state of Florida was arrested yesterday morning in Easley, according to information released by the US Marshals service.
Based upon an investigation into a fatal shooting, law enforcement officials in Palm Beach County, FL identified 24 year old Erick Lopez as a suspect in the shooting death of Arturo Arriga, who was killed on his 65th birthday.
Lopez was taken into custody by US Marshals with the assistance of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, the Easley Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security.
Lopez was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center as he has been charged in Palm Beach County, FL with Murder and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
