Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Vandalism’s At Three County Churches

(Seneca, SC)—The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is investigating vandalism’s at three churches that occurred this past weekend.

The three churches are located on Gentry Memorial Highway and involve Bible Baptist Church, Pickens View Wesleyan Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the three churches are within close proximity of one another and well within walking distance to each site.

The Sheriff’s Office has not identified any suspects in the investigation and is seeking the public’s help this morning in that investigation.  Anyone with any information is asked to call the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office at 864-898-5500 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

At one of the locations, according to the Sheriff’s Office, there were words painted on the sanctuary and the fellowship building referencing Michael Seabrooke, who was recently charged in the investigation into hazardous devices at the Pickens County Courthouse and the Department of Social Services.

At this time, the Sheriff’s Office does not believe that there is any connection between Seabrooke and those who are responsible for the vandalism’s.
