South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Reports Preliminary Number Of Five Person Killed On South Carolina Roadways This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)——The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced that a preliminary total of five persons were killed on South Carolina highways this past weekend, from the time period between 6pm, Friday, July 19th until just before midnight, Sunday, July 21st.

As of July 21st, 518 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 544 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018.

So far this year, 18 people have died on roadways in Anderson County, six people of have died on roadways in Oconee County and eight people of have died on roadways in Pickens County.
