Man Wanted By Easley Police On Attempted Murder Charges Arrested In Brooklyn, New York
(Seneca, SC)——A man wanted by the Easley Police Department on charges of Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime and Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition by a Convicted Felon was arrested yesterday in Brooklyn, NY.
According to a press release from the US Marshals Service, 36 year old Peter Jamal Stokes was taken into custody by the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Stokes was arrested without incident at an apartment building off of Lincoln Avenue.
The charges against Stokes stem from an incident that occurred on Davis Street in Easley back on May 6th of this year, according to the release from the Marshals Service.
Stokes was arrested based upon a tip that was received, according to the Marshals Service.
