Seneca Police Arrests Two Men On Charges Of Manufacturing Methamphetamine

(Seneca, SC)—-The Seneca Police Department arrested a Seneca man and a Pickens man on one count each of Manufacturing Methamphetamine on Tuesday.

50 year old Galen Clark Minor of Seneca was also charged with one count of shoplifting. Also charged is 27 year old David Allen Berry of Pickens with one count of shoplifting as well as a charge of Entering a Premises after Warning.

The investigation began after a Seneca Police Officer was dispatched to the Ingles location at the East End Intersection in Seneca due to reports of a possible shoplifting.  The officer observed two men with plastic grocery bags nearby with a small buggy.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Berry was on trespass notice from the Ingles location.  A search of a black book bag on scene produced what appeared to be a mobile meth lab, upon which narcotics agents from the Seneca Police Department were notified.  The narcotics agents contacted SLED to properly dispose of the hazardous materials.
