Georgia Department Of Transportation Announced Suspension Of Construction Related Lane Closures For Labor Day Weekend
(Seneca, SC)————The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced that construction related lane closures will be suspended beginning at Noon today with the suspension of the lane closures lasting through 5am next Tuesday, September 3rd for the Labor Day Holiday.
In a release from the Georgia DOT, the agency says that those suspensions will be adjusted as needed in the coming days due to potential affects of Hurricane Dorian.
In South Carolina, non-emergency road construction lane closures were scheduled to be suspended at 6am this morning and the suspension will remain in place until 6am next Tuesday, September 3rd.
