First Ever Alley To The Valley Park And Ride Initiative Appears To Be A Successful One

(Seneca, SC)————Last night was the kick-off to the Alley to the Valley park and ride initiative for Clemson home football game at the city of Seneca that ran parallel last night to the regularly scheduled Jazz on the Alley event. And according to Seneca City Administator Scott Moulder, it appears that the first outing was a successful one.

Moulder tells 94.1 The Lake that even though there was some hiccups and some lessons learned, he thought the event was a great one and the city was able to obtain some good feedback from the riders as they caught up with them after the game.

Moulder estimates that maybe as many as 500 to 600 people were watching the Clemson game at the end of the night on the green at Norton-Thompson Park downtown.

Moulder also told 94.1 The Lake that some of the businesses in the city have reported record sales from last night’s events.

Moulder also told 94.1 The Lake that early estimates of 180 to 200 riders for the shuttle service last night and some of the feedback indicated the service was very convenient, easy and quck and that riders were headed up to Death Valley about 15 minutes after getting on the bus.
