Seneca Police Department Files Additional Charges Against Two Men Arrested Last Week

(Seneca, SC)———-The Seneca Police Department has filed additional charges against two men who were each charged by officers with First Degree Burglary in relation to an incident that occurred at Our Daily Rest in Seneca. 

23 year old Robert Wesley Quarles II and 18 year old Dylan Trevor Bernard were booked into the Oconee County Detention Center last Wednesday afternoon in regards to a burglary of the Our Daily Rest location on East Main Street during the early morning hours of August 28th. 

Based upon evidence gathered as a result of the continuing investigation, Quarles II and Bernard have been charged with one additional count of First Degree Burgalry related to a separate burglary at the Our Daily Rest location on August 27th. 

The two men have also been charged with four counts each of Petit Larceny. Two of the charges stem from the stealing of bicycles from Our Daily Rest back on August 28th and August 27th respectively. 

One of the Petit Larceny charges is in relation to an incident in which a moped was stolen from a location on West North 2nd Street sometime between August 26th and August 27th while the final Petit Larceny charge stems from an incident in which portable electronics were taken from an address on Main Street sometime between August 25th and August 26th. 

Seneca Police Chief John Covington says that no new charges are expected at this point.
