Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man On Grand Larceny And Malicious Injury To Personal Property Charges

(Seneca, SC)—-The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Seneca man on charges of Grand Larceny and Malicious Injury to Personal Property. 

26 year old Anthony Michael Griffin was placed under arrest by deputies after a traffic stop that occurred on Labor Day for speeding. 

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, Griffin failed to provide a driver’s license. There was also significant damage to the front end of the vehicle that Griffin was operating and an iPad belonging to the School District of Oconee County was seized. 

An investigation determined that Griffin had driven the vehicle, a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban which belonged to the School District, through the gate at the School District shop causing damage to the vehicle and the gate that secures the shop, which is located on South Cove Road.
