South Carolina Department Of Public Safety Announces a Preliminary Total of Four People Killed On SC Roadways This Past Weekend

(Seneca, SC)—The South Carolina Department of Transportation has announced a preliminary total of four persons were killed on South Carolina roadways this past weekend, from the time period between 6pm, Friday, September 13th and just before midnight, Sunday, September 15th.

As of this past Sunday, 670 people have died on South Carolina highways so far this year, according to a release from the Department of Public Safety, compared to 728 highway deaths during the same time period in 2018.

As of September 15th, 26 people have died on the roadways this year in Anderson County, while 10 people have died on the roadways in Oconee County and nine people have died on the roadways in Pickens County so far this year.
