STORE WORKER ALLEGEDLY STOLE FROM HER EMPLOYER

An office employee at the Seneca Lowe’s store was arrested Wednesday at her workplace and charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent, value of $10 thousand or more. Law enforcement records identify the accused as Carrie Rose Brooks, 21-year old resident of Donald Road, Seneca. As part of an investigation, Oconee deputy Russ Anderson met with Craig Dowdle, Investigator Asset Protection for Lowes. A warrant issued by Magistrate Erin McKinney alleges Brooks received “cash and merchandise valued at over $10,000 which belonged to Lowe’s Home Centers” and “the defendant then appropriated the property to her own use with the fraudulent intent to deprive the owner….” The crimes are alleged to have occurred between December 1 and February 5.
