Walhalla Fire Wets Down New Engine

Walhalla Fire Department wetted down a new fire engine Wednesday morning. Following a long held tradition of being sprayed into service, the fire engine was pushed into its bay beside other fire vehicles. At a price tag of $384,000, Walhalla’s Fire Chief Brandon Burton said in a quote that the Sumter built engine will be on the front lines responding to all types of incidents ranging from car accidents to, of course, fires.
