Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw Announces Hiring of Dan Holland to Direct and Teach Inclusion and Equity Training as well as Departmental Culture to Law Enforcement in Oconee County

Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw is announcing today the hiring of Seneca native Dan Holland as the Cultural Diversity Director for the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. Holland graduated from Central Wesleyan College (now Southern Wesleyan University) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Education Degree in Student Personnel Services from Clemson University.

Dan’s diverse background includes training and certification in Title IX as well as serving on the Board of Directors and the Board Quality and Corporate Compliance Committee for Greenville Hospital System/Oconee Medical Center from 2010-2018.

Dan’s background in education includes time as Director of Student Services, Director of Program Operations, Associate Vice President for Program Operations, Interim Vice President of Adult and Graduate Studies and University Faculty Member at Southern Wesleyan University while also serving as Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Student Development at Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton for seven years.

Sheriff Crenshaw has tasked Mr. Holland to develop a program that examines departmental culture as well as teaching inclusion and equity to Sheriff’s Office employees on a recurring basis. Tentative plans are to also offer this program to Oconee County Government employees as well as all law enforcement in Oconee County.
