Seneca PD Officer Hurt During Incident

Seneca Police Chief John Covington, in a statement late Wednesday afternoon, said that one of his officers was treated at an area hospital after suffering a leg injury. The incident originated as a disturbance call at Ann Hope United Methodist on Goddard Avenue, and both Seneca Police officers and Oconee County Sheriff’s Deputies responded. Deputies made an arrest, according to reports, as the Seneca officer was injured.
