News of Interest: CAT Bus Changes Red-Central Route; Seneca Naval Man Serving Aboard USS Germantown; Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting Tonight in Seneca

  • The Red-Central Route of the Clemson Area Transit will be rerouted due to pipeline work at Cochran and Lindsey Roads in Clemson. The new path will take the CAT bus to Old Central Road to Clemson Street, then right onto Calhoun Street and back onto it’s regular route.
  • Lt. Cmdr. Jason Sluder of Seneca is serving in the Navy aboard the USS Germantown in the Indo-Pacific as a Command Chaplain with part of an American Expeditionary Strike Group operating in the 7th fleet area.
  • A variance request from Michael and Susan McCalister for their property at 127 Julian Drive is on the agenda for Seneca’s Board of Zoning Appeals meeting. It will be held at 6:00 pm at City Hall and is open to the public, with social distancing measures in place. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear face coverings.
