General Machine of Anderson expanding

General Machine of Anderson will expand its metalworking and manufacturing operations in Anderson County. The $800,000 investment is expected to generate at least 20 new jobs. General Machine of Anderson is adding manufacturing space that will house additional equipment and allow the company to increase its machining fabricating, sheet metal and manufacturing capacity. Phase one of the two-phase expansion, the construction of an assembly building, is complete. Phase two of the expansion will be the addition of fabricating space, and should be completed by November.
