WSNW presents Senior Living Expo

WSNW is hosting its sixth Annual Senior Living Expo today.  Over 10,000 people are retiring everyday in the U.S., so WSNW hosts this event to allow local retirees to learn about industry leaders in healthcare, finance, real estate, home remodeling, insurance and more, explains WSNW general manager Brandon Kessler.  “We put this event together because it is a great opportunity for retirees who just moved to the area to learn more about the business community and even people that have lived here their whole lives may not know about the opportunities that are available here in the Upstate of South Carolina.”  The event is not just for seniors, explains Kessler.  “Everyone is invited to attend.  This is called the Senior Living Expo but there are many kids of senior citizens who want to learn more about the care that is offered by the local assisted living facilities.  They want to learn more about local attorney that will be here at the expo.  However, everyone is invited to attend.  We will have 50 businesses, everything from finance, insurance, attorneys, realtors, and home remodeling.  So, you can find a little bit of everything at this year’s Senior Living Expo.”  The Senior Living Expo is free and open to the public.  Attendees can also enjoy free Chick-fil-A samples and coffee at the event.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to win door prizes and see cover artists from the Memories Theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee perform live.  The Senior Living Expo is today from 9am to 1pm at the Shaver Recreation Complex in Seneca.
