Seneca to donate Pool Equipment to Walhalla

With Walhalla scheduled to open its pool later this month, the City of Seneca is offering equipment and spare parts from its old pool.  Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander gives details.  “Our pool is closed and we don’t see opening it up there at all because if we did ever do anything it probably would be at a different site, but there were some equipment at that site, didn’t know if they could use it but we knew we didn’t have any need for it any more, so some folks from Walhalla went there and found some things that they feel like they are going to be able to use.” Mayor Alexander said the Seneca City Council will consider a list of items to donate to the Walhalla pool at their next meeting.  “At the Council meeting, there is a list of things that they are asking we donate to the City of Walhalla, so we are going to be looking at that, the Seneca City Council will be and hopefully we will be able to allow them to go and get that equipment from the pool that we won’t use.” At their monthly meeting on Tuesday, the Seneca City Council will consider donating a six-filter filtration system as well as a double slide for the shallow end of the pool.
