Additional Anonymous Reward offered in Carver Case

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces that a second anonymous reward is being offered in the Sheila Carver unsolved disappearance.  Sheila Carver was reported missing by her father nearly 15 years ago on June 20, 1998.  She was last seen near B & B Trailer Park on the Utica Mill Hill near Seneca where she lived with her boyfriend.   $10,000 is now being offered for the recovery of her remains.  This is in addition to another $10,000 anonymous reward that was announced on May 16 when the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office profiled the Sheila Carver case as part of its unresolved and cold cases.  Therefore, the total amount being offered is $20,000 for the recovery of Carver’s remains. “Sheila Carver is officially considered missing,” said Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw in a press release on May 16. “Based on the facts of the investigation, we believe that Sheila is most likely deceased and that foul play was involved in her death. At this point and time, we want to find Sheila’s body so that her mother and father can give her a proper burial and begin the grieving process. It is not normal for a parent to lose a child. One can only imagine the pain and suffering endured by this family not knowing where their daughter is located. They have suffered through this ordeal for the past 15 years.” The Sheriff’s Office has established an Unsolved Case link on their website at www.oconeelaw.com.  Visitors to the website can view all the unsolved cases that the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has and will profile in the future.  Anyone with information on this case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 638-STOP or text your tip to 274637.  You do not have to give your name.
