Record Number visit Seneca Website in May

A record number of people visited the City of Seneca’s website in May.  Spurred by the Charlie Daniels Band performing at Seneca Fest 2013, over 25,000 people visited the city’s website in May, explains Seneca Events Coordinator Riley Johnson.  “One thing that stands out to me more and more each and every month is the number of visits and unique visits we get to our website.  I can’t thank Jeff Hopkins enough for his efforts on designing the site and of course the Mayor and Council for leading the way.  Over 25,000 visits for the month of May and I know Charlie Daniels had a big impact on that.  So many people were looking at our website to see what to do while they are in town, so we are excited about that.  Our website is so user-friendly.  You can sign up for email instant alerts, where you get emails to things happening in and around the city.  We invite everyone to go to our website and check it out.” According to data from Google Analytics, visitors to Seneca’s website viewed an average of 2.45 pages per visit.  New visitors to the site in May comprised 60%, while returning visitors were 40%.  Learn more about the City of Seneca by visiting www.seneca.sc.us.
