VA Medical Rep in OC on July 16

With thousands of eligible U.S. military veterans being added to the Veterans Administration’s available medical services programs each week, there is often confusion surrounding the qualifications and availability of these programs. Mia Temple, a VA medical representative from the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, will be available to all area military veterans and their spouses at 6pm, Tuesday, July 16 at the Seneca American Post, located on North Fairplay St. The program is being sponsored by the Marine Corps League Detachment 1131 and is free. Janice Matheson, assistant director of Veterans Affairs in Oconee County, will accompany Temple. They will discuss programs like home care and hospitalizations and will be available for questions following their presentations.  The new VA facility in Greenville and its services will also be discussed.
