OCPL Library Board to meet in Salem

The Board of Trustees of the Oconee County Public Library will hold their bi-monthly meeting at the Salem Community Center on Monday, July 22 at 5:30pm. The meeting is open to the public, explains Oconee County Public Library publicity director and Seneca Branch manager Blair Hinson.  “Our Library Board of Trustees will be meeting Monday night, July 22 at 5:30pm in the Salem Community Center, which is just down from the Salem Branch and Town Hall.  The meeting is open to the public, so, if you are interested in all that is going on with the library.  As usual, the topic of a new Seneca Branch may come up but they also will talk about a few other things too.  Those meeting are open to the public and we encourage folks, if they want to, to come out and check that out at the Salem Community Center.” Board meetings are held every other month in the various branches to provide the public maximum opportunity to attend a meeting at a nearby branch. The remaining Board meetings for 2013 are Monday, September 23 at 5:30pm in the Seneca Branch Library and Monday, November 25 at 5:30pm in the Walhalla Branch Library.
